Experience the Highlands Center after dark during the July new moon, when the forest reveals a different side of itself. Join Highlands Center naturalists for an evening walk along the trails and discover the sights, sounds, and mysteries of the nighttime world. As darkness settles over the landscape, participants will explore how wildlife, plants, and people experience the night through heightened senses and quiet observation. Suitable for all ages, Wonder at Nightfall offers a unique opportunity to slow down, look up, listen closely, and experience the wonder of nature beneath the stars.

Suggested gear: red light flashlights, comfortable and sturdy shoes, hiking or walking sticks.
