Situated on ten acres north of Prescott and overlooking Willow Lake, Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary (HPZS) is a 501c(3) non-profit dedicated to providing native and exotic animals in need with permanent homes. Open every day of the year, the park provides a source of recreation, education, and entertainment for all ages.
At HPZS you can visit with Mt. Lion, Black Bear, Mexican Grey Wolves, Servals, Clouded Leopards, Lynx, Ring-tailed Lemurs, Capuchin Monkeys, Native Raptors and Reptiles and our unique Tarantula Grotto. Visitors can enjoy the parklike setting including two children’s play areas, Kiwanis Korner and Jake’s Jungle Splash Pad. Ramadas are available throughout the park for your picnic lunch or to rent for special occasions such as birthdays, corporate events, or weddings.
Special Events at the zoo run from April through December including Breakfast with the Animals, Zoo by Moonlight, Sip & Paint, Behind the Scenes Photo Tours, After Dark at the Park, Fall ZooFest, Wet & Wild Day, Boo at the Zoo and WildLights and Animal Sights during the holidays.
