The Prairie Loop is located at the Community Nature Center, an 18 acre open space preserve. This fully ADA-Accessible trail starts right at the entrance of the Nature Center, and loops around many stops along the way, such as the Nature Play area, the Historic Cabin, and the wheelchair accessible Ramada. We are proud to say that both our Nature Play Area and our Prairie Loop trail are equipped with mounted AAC Boards to further promote exploration and communication for everyone.
There are also laminated AAC cards available at the Community Board up front for on-the-go discussions! The Ramada at the halfway point of the loop has wheelchair access, a picnic table, and an incredible view of Granite Mountain you don’t want to miss. The Prairie Loop is a must-go for any wheelchair, stroller, or walker users.
