Our tourism grants are designed to assist nonprofit organizations that host events in Prescott. The grant’s goal is to encourage event marketing outside of the Prescott area and to encourage overnight visitation. Grants are funded by the City’s Transient Occupancy (Bed Tax). Events are eligible for up to $5,000, depending on their rating and how many organizations successfully apply. The grant is available only to registered non-profit organizations.
The grant process begins and opens in the springtime, and grant funds are provided for the coming City of Prescott year, which is July 1st to June 30th.
Tourism grand awardees are voted on by the City of Prescott Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC)
